Companion Plugin

    Hello,

    I’m building a WordPress theme to submit on wordpress.org theme repository but once a reviewer said that I should move all of my theme sections in a companion plugin instead of direct use in the theme.

    But, I don’t have any idea what is the companion plugin and also the reviewer can not give a proper idea of what to do. Can anyone help me to know more about this ????
