Title: communication issue with jetpack Last modified: February 7, 2018 --- # communication issue with jetpack * Resolved [jenniferchandesigns](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jenniferchandesigns/) * (@jenniferchandesigns) * [8 years, 3 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/communication-issue-with-jetpack/) * Hi guys! * I am new to WordPress and the set-up. * I was wondering about this message error that was seen on my plugin: * _It seems that your site cannot communicate properly with Jetpack. _ * I have tried all 4 options… * I even updated my wordpress to latest versions already. * However, I have noticed that my jetpack is in development mode and cannot access to some features because it is not connected to jetpack! * However, I have set up my wordpress on local server on my computer… I haven’t buy domain names and the hosting plan yet because I want to make sure that nothing fails before having it live without any problems. I cannot access wp-config.php file on ftp nor I try to find hidden files on mac bc I worry about the damage on computer. * And I am glad that there’s debug file here, but I wish to know if there’s any
