We have a Commission Junction plugin (and a few others) that were listed on WordPress and very popular. Suddenly all but one listing disappeared from the plugin directory on the WordPress site. We’ve writting to plugins@wordpress.com several times with no response.

Any clues as to what happened? Did we do something wrong? Is it a technical glitch on the listing site? Please advise so we can correct any issues and get our products re-listed.

Our product line & the names they were registered as can be see on our site @ http://www.cybersprocket.com.

    TIA,
    Cyber Sprocket Labs

Did you plugins meet the requirements?

    1. Your plugin must be GPLv2 Compatible.
    2. The plugin most not do anything illegal, or be morally offensive (that’s subjective, we know).
    3. You have to actually use the subversion repository we give you in order for your plugin to show up on this site. The WordPress Plugins Directory is a hosting site, not a listing site.
    4. The plugin must not embed external links on the public site (like a “powered by” link) without explicitly asking the user’s permission.
    5. If you don’t specify a v2-compatible license, what you check in is explicitly GPLv2.

Yes, all 3 of the MoneyPress plugins adhere to those standards.

Did your plugins provide link cloaking? The plugin directory team removed several link cloaking plugins a while back. I think it’s a new policy, but they haven’t added it to the page yet.

    No link cloaking.

Someone wrote back, finally, and said they have been having issues with the listing & search engine.
