 * My users plan to be commenting with <‘s in them.
    IRC Logs, so they’re large 
   and there’s a lot of <‘s.
 * I can’t have them go and change every single one of those to proper code (& lt;&
   gt; )
 * Is there any ways I can make WordPress change those for me? Or just not format
   them like that?

 * Search for plugins for pasting code. I’ve written a really simple one, although
   there are much cooler ones in the plugins repository.

 * EDIT: To clarify: There are much cooler plugins for pasting code into POSTS. 
   For putting code into comments, I’m not aware of any plugins other than mine,
   although there probably are some out there.
