comment are showing in single post only and this is wordpress default functionality .

I just changed my WordPress reading settings so the front page of my blog only displays one (full) post at a time.
But now for some reason there is no comments section on my new post. This has never happened before and I can’t figure out what the issue is. Everything in my dashboard is set up to allow comments on all posts, but now they are only showing up on previous posts.
I’m using the Thesis theme and the Disqus comments plugin, so it’s possible that the issue lies with one of those… But since the only thing I changed was in the WordPress settings, I’m thinking the problem must have something to do with WordPress.
