Just for giggles…. i used the Yahoo Control Panel and installed a new version of wordpress. i exported from my current blog, imported to my “new” blog, but i lost 2 1/2 years worth of posts. (laughs) BUT, comments work, and so does pretty permalinks. Go Figure. Going to import my database into new blog, maybe that will work? who knows.
Any way to “export” from wordpress without losing all my posts etc? i have 5 years worth of posts! lol

The normal WordPress export should do it.

Bah… i did that. *laughs* it only exported thru the end of 2007. I’m slowly but surely importing my database. This is a learning experience! Thanks for you help 🙂
Interesting. It may have to do with the PHP memory allocation. Yahoo servers are just weird. Sorry 🙁

I recently moved my wordpress blog from GoDaddy to Yahoo.
I can no longer post any comments to posts. (no error message, nothing)
I cannot change my permalinks even with the “Customizable Permalinks” plugin by Yahoo activated. (I get nothing but 404 errors if i set it to anything but default)
From everything i have read in these forums, pretty permalinks may solve the comments issue? No clue how to solve the permalinks issue.
Anyone have any suggestions?
