# Comments overloaded?

 * Hi guys, 🙂
 * Over a period of about a month, with no proper spam-filter on my comments, I’ve
   amassed 1,600 comments, 99.999% of which will be spam, although I know some friends
   have left comments that haven’t been posted.
 * When I click the ‘comments’ section in the back-end it takes me to a blank page
   and doesn’t load them – I’ve now tried this on many browsers, Mac & PC based 
   and nothing works.
 * Is there any way to fix this and if not, can I just delete them all and start
   again? (the latest comments that is, not all the already published comments or
   my posts)

 * So there is nothing built into this system to get rid of overloaded spam comments?
   You must be joking, right?
