Although I don’t really know what are the implications, I know we all are certain that people use the WordPress engine to talk about future events and all sort of possibly scheduled posts.
Perhaps there’s already a solution that I haven’t found? Or any other resource that explains about the problem/limitation.
People can’t comment on a ‘scheduled’ post because it’s not posted yet. That said there are plugins like http://wordpress.org/plugins/events-manager/ which you can use instead.
