  • also from readin other threads i realised that if i uncommented the <?php comments_popup_script();?> in header.php then this should rectify the problem which it doesn’t

Do the comments work if your switch to the default or the classic theme?

this is only on classic theme perhaps i should try default. i will post within a few minutes.

    BTW, where is your blog?

The site is also loading very very slow, and Im having a 4 mb connection over here 🙁

i don’t see the <?php comments_popup_script();?> un-commented in the default header.php? is where my blog is, yeh im only on 256kb/sec up so not very good =( getting upgrade soon!!=D

It doesn’t matter what your connection is – unless you are hosting it on your box. Are you?

ok, i added the line <?php comments_popup_script();?> just above the </head> well 2 lines above it and it works now, but not on classic anyideas as thats what i have cutomized?

the site is hosted by myself. and i think it has been running slower as it has soo much rubbish in the root like 1.56GB! =O

the site is also underconstruction. so no content on it yet, i have like 5/6 templates thats why root is so large

I just don’t get it. No content and 1.56 GIG? Are you kidding? Even if you have 20 files in a theme, it shouldn’t be that big.
There is something seriously wrong with your “customization”…

the content is in the root folder, but nothing on the current template e.g links and load of unwanted images from recent templates anyways anyideas on the problem?

the content is in the root folder
What content? WP content? WP content never is in “root” – it is always in the database.

nooooooooo, i was on about the site content, the WP content is in the database – yeh, otherwise it wouldn’t work?
