Most themes do not have comments on Pages – if you are not talking about posts.
Some themes are not widgets ready.
Yes, I was talking about comments on pages, and that explains it. So, if the solution is handy, how do I add comments to pages? I hope it’s as simple as one php line.
The Harvest theme is widgets ready. I can find the lines where the widgets function is called in the sidebar, but for some reason it is not executed. The functions do exist in the theme, AFAICT. So, I’m baffled.

1. Add the call for the comments template to your Page template(s). See how is it done in the single.php or index.php.
2. I am not familiar with that theme, sorry. If it has a functions.php and the right code in the sidebar.php – it should work.
I am trying to let comments show up after posts if the posts are any where including the front page but they are not. please see what I am talking about here and make a suggestion if you can. TIA as always

Hi,
I have a couple of problems with 2.6.2. Comments are not showing up on any pages with many themes.
Also, for example, with the The Harvest Theme from gecko & fly, the widget sidebar does not work.
I imagine that the solutions are fairly easy, but I haven’t managed to debug either.
