ok so you posts in your site …. it is a blog I guess.
So go to dashboard then posts and then click on all posts.
Now just below each post click on quick edit and make sure that show comments option is enabled and also if jetpack is creating the problem just uninstall it if it is not required and use some alternative plugin instead from traffic stats.

Sure enough, when I went to the quick edit option, the ‘allow comments’ check-box was not ticked. So when I did that, the comments option was once again available. So does that mean I have to do the quick edit step for every blog post that I create from here on out? Is there a way to make the ‘allow comments’ option a default for future posts?
If not, do you recommend any really good comment plugins?
trailsnet something is conflicting as … as per my knowledge the comments are enabled by default for new articles … may be something is conflicting or you changed the default settings for comments …
Here is the solution for you
Go to settings -> then to discussion -> check the checkbox which is titled as “Allow people to post comments on new articles “
and after making sure it is checked … save and create a new post to test ..
I hope this will solve your problem… and yes there might be many comments plugin in http://www.wordpress.org/plugins just search comments string there and check the rating of the plugins before deciding and thanks

Comments aren’t showing up on the Trailsnet.com blog since I started using JetPack comments. They are still showing on older blog-posts and on Trailsnet pages, but not on recent blog-posts. I’ve checked the Jetpack discussion settings, and can’t find any clear-cut on/off option or blog-posts option. I’d appreciate any suggestions for how to get comments working on my blog again.
