Comments Not Showing Under Posts on Blog

    Hi, I searched as much as possible through the forums, but every answer involved CSS. I don’t know CSS. I need a simple answer to the problem.

    I tried making sure comments were allowed on pages from the main customzit page, and then changing each page manually so that only my blog page allows comments. That didn’t work.

    I ensured that I’m allowing comments in my discussion page. That’s not the issue, either.

    At present, after I create and publish a post, then I have to go to my post page, click on quick edit, and then check the box to allow comments. It’s not happening automatically.

    I have this theme installed for two sites. My other site didn’t have this problem.

    So you ensured that you’ve checked this:
    “Settings -> Discussion -> Allow people to post comments on new articles ” and still doesn’t work when you add a new post?

    Anyway you don’t need to quick edit a post to set that. When you write a post click on the link “Screen Options” you see at the top, and check “Discussion”, then you can see the Discussion options and do what you need.
