    Hi,

    I have two problems when trying to use inline comments:

    1) Once a comment is posted, upon reloading the page, the comment doesn’t appear on the side anymore, just in the comment section at the end of the post (the counter is increased correctly though).

    2) Comments on different posts all end up linked to the same post.

    Any idea how to fix these?

    As a bonus question: are there any specific Axajify settings to use with Inline comments?

    Many thanks in advance for your reply.

    Hi David,
    Inline Comments is not working on a page with a loop with posts, i.e. on your home page.
    Make your selectors more specific so that the bubbles are only display on “.single” posts, for example.

    Many of the Ajaxify settings should work. So simply try them. (Change the loading text, for example.)

    Best regards,
    Kevin

    I am experiencing the same thing. Looking at my html on a single post, the inline comment submit form is using the wrong post ID:

    name=’comment_post_ID’ value=’1087′

    when post ID can be another number like 1147 or anything else. It always is 1087. Any idea how to fix it?

    @duuk:
    Can you provide me a link to your site? I have to guess that something is not correct with your theme or another plugin since you’re the first person who mentions your mentioned issue.

    Sure – thanks for looking into it. I’ve been trying to work through the code, but I don’t know js very well. I’m very excited to have it working.

    Can you send me a email to the email address listed on http://kevinw.de/contact/? I need to take a look at your theme files.

    Turns out it was another plugin (a theme specific widget for recent posts) that was breaking it. Thanks again Kevin, for your help and your great plugin. RESOLVED.
