When I upgraded from version 4.0.15 to 4.1.1 comments were no longer printed to the post pages. The comment count and the comment form were still displayed but no comments were.

I changed to twentyseventeen and the issue persisted. I disabled all plugins except wpDiscuz and the issue persisted. I rolled back to 4.0.15 and the comments were displayed again as normal.

This occurred at 12 sites. Half are hosted on SiteGround VPS and half are hosted on Rackspace Cloud servers. All are on PHP 7.0.x

    Hi @dane-morgan,

If you use “lazy load comments” read this topic please – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/something-gone-wrong-with-4-1-0-update/

Okay, we were not supposed to be on Lazy Load, but somehow we are set that way.

Still, when we scroll down to the comments they did not load. Lazily or otherwise. Just no comments period.

I am setting our setting back to [Load More] Button. Is there a hook I can set to override that setting and ensure it stays on [Load More]?

Better still, we would still like to see an option for “Just display ALL of our comments on the page, please. We are currently using the 9999 comments per page kludge to get around this, but having the option would be cleaner and more transparent.

What is the status of this problem? Are you able to see comments?

    Hi @dane-morgan,

The option “Load all comments” will be added in future versions maybe even in next 4.1.2 version.
