Comments link has ceased to work (4 posts)

    Our latest post on the Clarity blog, http://www.claritywritingexperts.com/blog, shows one comment. That comment is there when you look via the dashboard, but when you click on comments, you get an error message 404.

    Comments on previous posts work.

    We think it's a database problem, which we aren't able to solve. Can you help?

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    In the end, we've republished the post as a new one and the comments so far seem to work, so it's a mystery what went wrong with the previous version. Thanks for your help.
