Support » Fixing WordPress » Comments h1 header inserted in custom blog page

Please take a look at this test site: Test Blog. Please note the “Comments” h1 element at the bottom of the page after my two test posts.

I’m using WP 2.3.1. I’ve assigned custom home and blog pages using the “Front Page” options in the Administrative panel. I created a blog page template by renaming the home.php, inserting the template info at the top of the file and assigning it as my Blog page’s page template.

It appears as though the code that normally injects the “Comments” header at the bottom of a post is somehow adding it to the bottom of my custom blog page.

Does anyone know how to correct this? I couldn’t find it anywhere in my theme files.
