try the health check plugin which will change theme to a default theme and deactivate all plugins in troubleshooting mode

Thank you for your reply. I already disabled all plugins without any result. By running the health check, seems the theme is the issue. When troubleshooting mode enabled I see the comment fiels again.

Hi,
Since I updated my WordPress site to 5.0 and later, the comments field is missing on newly published articles. On my existing articles the comments field is still available. Under Discussion Allow people to comment is checked. Allow comments is checked on the Document settings. Anything else I can check to get my comment field back?
