  • What version of wp are you running ?
What plugins do you have ?

    Sorry – 1.5 and no plug-ins enabled

    Is this an upgrade ?
If so, did you delete the old files before uploading new ?

Yes, and it was working last night except that my pop-up comments template didn’t look right.

I copied the classic theme and used those files to create a new theme hoping that would fix the pop-up comment problem and it did, looks-wise. Then the fatal error issue arose, so I deleted the new theme I’d created from my server.

Did I screw up when I duplicated the original theme? Should I just scrap the whole thing and start over?

It could well be that you have inadvertently included some php somewhere which is trying to use the same function twice wrongly.
A very careful comparison of your work with a default files should highlight the problem line(s)

Okay – comments are working again, but I’m back to the original problem of the main page being squashed into the comments box after posting a comment.

Once you close the comment box and look again they look fine.

    How do I fix this?
