# COMMENTS do not function at all

 * Although a LEAVE A COMMENT appears as text, it is not possible to leave a comment.
   I’m using the WP Default Theme and and wp 2.0.4 installed. Internally have all
   the appropriate CHECKMARKS made.
 * I’ve tried other themes and the same result. NO COMMENTS are possible. It asks
   to LOGIN to leave a comment, I do it and the page reloads exactly where I started
   from.
 * I’ve followed old threads but nothing useful found yet.
 * Any clues?

 * What I’m experiencing is I only get the COMMENT FORM when it’s allowed that ANYONE
   can comment.
 * I see no form when it’s restricted to registered users. That’s the strange thing.
 * I’ll try playing with preferences but there must be something more definitive
   I’m missing.
