 * Just found this plugin. Firstly, it is a huge time saver. The only problem I’ve
run into thus far is that every custom post type I’ve created so far, all of
which are defaulting to using the template in single.php, all say “comments closed”
at the bottom. When I try to go into Screen Options on any of the custom posts,“
Discussion” is missing. On the CPT settings page for this post type, I have the“
Comments” checkbox checked. Not sure what else to do.

 * Update: After disabling comments in the Settings > Discussion page and then enabling
them again, the option now appears on my custom post types. However, with comments
enabled, the actual post body editor field is entirely gone!

 * So disabling comments globally has the post editor screen fine, but obviously
no ability to set comments per-post. Enabling comments globally allows for comment
ability, but the post editor textarea itself disappears completely?

 * Yes, but it was again an oversight on my part. As explained here: [http://screencast.com/t/u5lCYxOQR5zJ](http://screencast.com/t/u5lCYxOQR5zJ)

 * Ah I think I see. With none checked for “supports” it falls back to the default
of just title and editor. However, once you check any of them, only those checked
will be used. That makes sense now. That said, when checking any, make sure to
   check all that you want.
 * Gonna mark resolved with that said, you should be covered at this point.
