Hello, Love the theme but I don’t want a comment count in the post header. Is there any way to remove it entirely? If not, can it be changed to say Comments Closed, instead?

You can try this:
Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and write this following CSS rule:
```
.entry-meta a, 
.entry-meta-bottom a, 
.entry-meta.entry-meta-bottom a {
   display: none;
}
```
