# Comments Closed – Comments Off area

 * If you click on any of the pages on the menu, at the top of the page it is says
   the date and comments off, then at the bottom it says comments closed.
 * I want to delete this so it doesn’t say anything, as it is going to be a comment
   free site.
 * Any idea where in the code I would change this?

 * look in the source code of the page and find the class or id that is attached
   to the phrase “comments are closed” and then in the style.css of your (hopefully
   child) theme just set that class or id to display: none; and you should be ok.

 * I figured out how to get the NO comments part off yesterday in the code, I couldn’t
   figure out how to get the date posted, category and comments closed part to go
   away.
 * After trial and error I found the code, I deleted things hit save, if they broke
   I pasted them back in and deleted something else.
 * Not the best way to do it but it worked.
