This happened when I set up the blog wth WordPress 2.9, and continues with the new version.
in Settings, I’ve checked “Allow people to post comments on new articles ” and each individual post has “Allow comments.” checked
I’ve searched all of the forum posts about this problem and have tried the suggestions:
– I’ve tried 3 different themes, each has the same problem
– I’ve turned off all of my plugins
– I’ve set my permalinks to the default
– I’ve checked single.php to see if it has <?php comments_template(); ?>, and it does.
I think you have misconfigured the permalink. Look when you click the title in homepage, it opens the date archive template, for example: A Year in Australia: A Year in Australia: http://www.nams.ca/MagiBlog//2010/08/21/.
Try to use default permalink first, then check the effect.

Hi,
I am administrating the following blog at http://www.nams.ca/MagiBlog, running WordPress 3.0.1
I cannot get the comments box to appear on individual posts. But it appears on the home page. Using the suggestions in http://clifgriffin.com/2008/10/28/display-comment-form-on-main-index-in-wordpress/ I’ve now got comments on the index page. But not on individual pages.

Any other suggestions?
Thanks, Vilis
