# Comments are not nesting

 * Whenever “Let readers use WordPress.com, Twitter, Facebook, or Google+ accounts
   to comment” option is turned on comments are not nesting. After turning it off,
   new comments are getting nested.
    I have checked Discussion settings. Old nested
   comments remain nested. Only new replies are not getting nested.

 * What is the address of the Jetpack site in question?
 * Does the issue persist if you temporarily disable all other plugins except for
   Jetpack and use a default theme, like Twenty Sixteen?
 * Once you give us some additional clarification, we will be more than happy to
   continue addressing your issue.

 * I have tried that and found that Auto optimise and Async Javascript are causing
   the issue. How do I add an exception for Jetpack?

 * Your best bet is to reach out to the plugin developers. They should be able to
   assist you in configuring the plugin to bypass this effect.
 * If it is a bug, they should be able to address it in a future update.
