    Hi!
While testing the comments feature (the website is still in my localhost), I realize that the comments I post (with a different user-account) don’t include any posted links despite that the rest of the text is there. Moreover, they are marked as spam. The links follow the comment, under the username, only if I add them in the “Website” field.
I don’t find any features that seem to manage permissions for posting links in the comments, neither in Askimet (I use the free version) nor in Settings – Discussion.

I am looking on how to customize the comments feature so that it invites users to comment only when they have relevant material/info to be added to the post. That is why I need that the links show in the comments, so they can share the sources for the relevant content (and I would need to approve them and possibly edit the post with their info)

Anyone can pont to where I can manage these features?

    Thanks in advance

    In:
    dashboard – settings – discussion

    look for:

    Comment Moderation
Hold a comment in the queue if it contains or more links. (A common characteristic of comment spam is a large number of hyperlinks.)

I had 2 links set in that parameter, Tara. The problem was that ONLY THE LINKS were not being posted. Just the text was showing, when I approved the comments.

Anyway, It’s working fine now. I have no idea how come.
