Comments and the “more” tag.

  • Hi guys,

I’m new to WordPress, but so far, I’ve had a pretty easy time picking up PHP. I feel like a superhero. Except for one problem…

When I split a post with a “more” tag, there is no comment link on the post’s individual page. What should I do?

Sorry, I tried to search for an answer, but Google didn’t turn much up.

You can check out the site at http://highmileage.org to get a better idea of what I’m talking about.

Thanks a lot for your time.

depends on your template. Look in you template folder and see if there is a single.php file…. if there is, then read up on using template files in the codex, http://codex.wordpress.org …. you’ll need to add the appropriate code to the single.php.

If there is NOT a single.php file then it uses the one found in the default theme…. copy it your folder, and modify.

That was a fast response! You guys are awesome. How, exactly, is this free?! 🙂

I’m using a modified version of “classic”. I haven’t deleted any files from the template folder, and there’s no single.php to be found. Any advice?
