# Comments and images

 * Actually ver 2.8.4 – but its not there to select
 * Comments do not allow display of images; I have read.
 * Plugins allow a device displayed to upload images. I don’t want to offer that.
 * I can use a comment to refer HTML to a page which has an image in place. That
   involves navigation away from the chain of comments, only one or a few of which
   will have / may have an image.
 * What I wonder is if an image could be displayed direct from a comment by Lightbox/
   Shadowbox or similar. I tried but failed so it may be a non-starter.
 * Is it? Or, can a flash display be done from a comment?
