# Comments

 * How do I turn off Comments for one post only? I tried unchecking Comments, but
   it still allows them.

 * in admin, when you write a post, near the bottom of the panel there are these
   settings:
 * > Discussion
   >  Allow comments.
   >  Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page.

 * Yes, I know about them. I unclicked Allow comments but it’s still allowing them.

 * That setting works for my posts exactly as intended (I have no plugins installed).
   
   Don’t know what to say. You can try deactivating plugins one by one and see if
   any plugin is a culprit. Also you can revert back to the default theme (if you
   are using some other theme) to see if the issue is theme relataed
