# Comments

 * I don’t know if this question is related directly to the Wilson theme, but that’s
   the one I’m using. I imported a bunch of older posts from a different blog hosted
   using WordPress. As far as I can remember, comments were open on these posts.
   At any rate, at the bottom of posts, there’s a message that says “Comments are
   closed.” Even after selecting “Allow comments” for a post and updating the post,
   the message is still there. Any help would be appreciated.

 * Try activating a different theme in Appearance → Themes (like TwentyXXX, if you
   have one of those installed) and check if the posts still show “Comments are 
   closed.” If they do, it’s probably related to Wilson.
 * If they still show “Comments are closed” when you’ve switched themes, you can
   try deactivating your plugins one at the time to check if any of them are at 
   fault.

 * Thanks for your response, Anders. I figured out what the issue was. I had to 
   uncheck this option in the Discussion settings: “Automatically close comments
   on articles older than __ days.”
