So I’m considering doing a db reset, since there doesn’t seem to be anything out there to help with this issue. However, I’m not much of a developer – what will I lose with a reset, exactly? I have backups, but am wondering how much rebuilding I’m going to have to do afterwards. Thanks.

For some reason, modifying the type of permalinks resolved this issue. Not sure why, but I’ll take it.

Have had a WP site running for years with no issue. Comments were working earlier today, no changes were made on the site whatsoever. Latest post was last night, received comments today for awhile, then noticed that it’s no longer possible to leave a comment.
Loading the comments works fine, and the submission form seems to be operational, but upon pressing the “post comment” button, it goes to a blank page that simply says “temporarily unavailable.” No error, no nothing else.
Has anyone seen this before? What could cause this? It’s not plugins – I’ve disabled them all and still see the issue.
