I’ve tried raising this elsewhere, but somehow the topic is immediately declared as “closed”??? So, her we go again. The site in question runs on 3.8.1 and uses the 2013 template. It has a dedicated page for new posts called “What’s New”, on which people where happily commenting on various contributions. Since January, the comments box suddenly disappeared, and I cannot get it to appear again. for some reason, despite all setting being correct to “Allow comments”, it is impossible for anybody to comment on a post. the comment box is simply not being shown.
Has anybody any idea on what is causing this and how to solve this rather awkward problem?
