# Commenting issue

 * I have received several emails from visitors to my blog who say that when they
   try to comment they get this message:
 * “I’m sorry, you have visited this page too many times. Please come back in an
   hour”
 * (They come back in an hour, same message). I have deactivated my anti-spam plugins
   but the problem persists. When I’m logged in, I can comment as myself. When I
   log out and try to comment, I get the same message. PLEASE HELP!

 * That’s not a message from WordPress itself, so it must be added by a plugin or
   theme.
 * Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme
   to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
