# Commenting fails miserably

 * I’ve searched and read and cut and paste, to no avail. My post page loads just
   fine with any theme, comment box and all, but when I (or anyone else, logged 
   in or not) click “submit comment,” nothing happens.
 * I really have read just about everything I could find related to commenting, 
   with no luck. Please help?

 * I see that you’re using permalinks. Did you include the .htaccess that rewrites
   the directory structure?

 * phpprincess: yep, and I’ve tried with permalinks turned off, too. :\
 * macmanx: nope, I have a virginal 1.5 with only the search hilite activated.
