Did this happen after an upgrade, or a plugin install? Anything?
hmmmm … using Firebug, your ID for .commenttext shows a BG color of #FFF (white), but no text color assigned. Strange.

It happened after I installed my related posts plugin. I have tried to uninstall it, but the problem persists.
Have you checked your comments.php file to make sure it wasn’t altered somehow? You might also contact the author of the plugin about this.

I checked my comment.php file, in face I re-uploaded the original file and that didn’t help.
A couple months back I had this same issue. I tried all sorts of things to fix it, but nothing worked. A couple weeks later my comments started showing up correctly out of the blue again even though I hadn’t changed anything.
2 days ago all my comments started showing up blank again. I haven’t installed any new plugins in months, and it’s been at least 3 weeks since I’ve updated any plugins. I’ve tried everything suggested here as well as clearing my temp files/cache. Nothing has been changed at all. I’ve only added additional posts, but none with any type of coding or embedded content. The comments show up blank to me in both Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Has anyone found a solution to this yet?

The commenter’s avatar shows, but the actual comment area is blank. It shows up in my admin section. Just started doing this out of the blue.
