# comment table unwriteable

 * I’m perplexed. My WP site finally went live today (www.electrolund.com), and 
   now no comments contain user information — name or URI.
 * I’m assuming there’s a database table somewhere that is supposed to be writeable
   by the world for commenting.
 * The funny thing is, when I was putting the blog together using the backdoor login,
   all was fine as far as comments go. Something with teh DNS?

 * Have you checked to see if it’s a problem with your template? Make sure to verify
   you have all the variables in your comment.php to display all the proper elements
   you are asking for.

 * Hmm, yeah, I think you could be right. I just changed themes back to Default,
   logged out, and noticed that all input boxes were gone! No wonder it doesn’t 
   work.
 * Now what would that indicate, if they’re broken across themes?
