# Comment security code fail

 * Hello,
 * I have a blog at – [http://www.thealice.co.uk](http://www.thealice.co.uk).
 * My readers are having an issue with commenting on my posts. It’s not all readers,
   every time I test the comments myself it seems to work fine, but the issue is
   there for some.
 * The error being given is ‘wrong security code’, yet I’m not using any sort of
   input spam-net. Disabling Akismet didn’t work, nor did upgrading my WordPress
   installation.
 * Any help will be gratefully received.

 * I just submitted a test comment on the Chocolate Fudge Cake post with no problems.(
   feel free to delete it)
 * I’ve never seen WordPress output such an error. Despite the fact you say you 
   are not using any type of “input spam-net” it sounds like you are, or did. Have
   you ever used such a plugin? Have you seen the error for yourself?
