Under settings->discussion, do you have checked “close replies for posts older than X”?
Thank you Steve! That was it. I had no idea that was how it worked. That must have always been there for posts older than 28 days…. for a few years now. Yikes! I learn something every day 🙂

Hi – I just noticed that all my blog posts prior to December 20, 2016 have lost their comments and standard “Leave a Reply” section at the bottom. There’s now a “Comments are Closed” in bold sign instead. What happened? Was it during an update that I lost them all? How do I get them back for all posts?
If I go to the general blog page at http://www.DominiqueHurley.com/blog, some posts show that there were comments, but they too are gone.
