# Comment restriction doesn’t work

 * Hello,
 * I’ve tried setting up for a test user group and in the comment section, everything
   is shown 0 for all restrictions, even though I set a different value. Plus I 
   can still make more comments than the restricted value. Is there anything else
   I have to setup to make the plugin work?

 * I tested it on two membership builds, heavily loaded with a forum in one case,
   and all manner of comment add-ons. Despite the large number of comment modules,
   the “Comment Limit:” value saved in the setup table appears predictably and functions
   as it should.
 * Without seeing your configuration, I would be curious if you did save your configuration
   to the associated table, from the plugins settings page, as depicted on the plugin’s
   landing page screen capture? It sounds as if the configuration wasn’t saved.
 * If you are certain you have saved the configuration on the settings page, you
   may have a theme or plugin conflicting with it’s usage? Did you try to switch
   to whatever resident WordPress theme (like Twenty Fifteen) to test? Additionally,
   doing so with same theme and no other plugins, slowing reactivating to find the
   conflict?
 * There is something amiss, where the plugin works as expected, even in combination
   with a heavily plugin activated installation.

 * I just checked the configuration and everything is saved there. Also I tried 
   another themes and disabling some possible conflicting plugins but nothing changes.
   All the values are still showing 0. Is there anyway I can send you the debug 
   file?

 * Greetings,
 * Currently, I have no developer to assist. Additionally, it is not a commercial
   plugin with free support, it is an open source plugin. That means the end user
   can hire a developer to troubleshoot and modify the code if necessary, and as
   an option provide the code to us to patch if a conflict is resolved.
 * As it is, this plugin was designed for one customer and then openly shared as
   a “use it as it is, no warranties implied or expressed”.
 * Sorry I cannot do more, but it requires funding to hire a developer to trouble
   shoot any challenges. We have no funding to do so.
