Comment resent

    Greetings.
    I am new to wordpress as a blog(have used it for years as a static business site). I decided to move over my blog from blogger – all went swimmingly.

    I have comments enabled.

    Recently an individual who sent a comment commented again with this complaint:

    When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment.
    Is there any way you can remove people from that service?

    Since I am new to the Blogging on WordPress- can you suggest what I have ticked to be inadvertently spamming my readers! What is also odd, is she is the only individual that commented on THAT Post so I don’t know if she is getting tons of comments on other posts??? FYI- I tried reading back through forums but if this has been asked I was unable to pop in the correct terms! Apologies if this is the 3rd time you were asked this this week!

    My site is http://www.drkahoving.com the blog page is http://www.drkahoving.com/blog. I am using HEADWAY THEME 3.6.3

    One more thing- have been asked about where my “information” is. Since I set up the blog years after the site, did I forget to add something? I do have a page on nav bar on “Dr Karen” and each page has a contact sheet. And contact info- besides wanting latest medical records…what else could be desired? (joke!)

    Can you replicate the problem with all plugins deactivated?

    well I’m not sure bc this person is the only one that complained about it happening so I just wanted to know if anyone had heard of this before.

    If I detach all of my plugins my business plugins will not work…I have youtube video’s etc…isn’t there something it might be? I had someone rebuild my site – I’m afraid if I detach everything I’ll be in trouble…

    But if no one has heard of this happening… I’ll call my web builder and ask him. Thanks any way…

    Please note that, despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue may be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc.
