Comment Reply Notification??

    When i first set up the website.. user click reply to other user comment and they do not get any notification.. author is the only one getting notification on their post.
    Why is that? what the reply button for?

    Now i found a plugins

    it work.. user get notification from another user when they click reply to their comment.

    problem..
    when author reply to user that left comment on their post…
    then when the user click reply back to the author.. the author get two e mail .

    Two e mail is for..
    Notification for post
    and
    Notification for reply

    I need to fix it where author only get one e mail when user click reply to author comments on author post..

    Are you sure that the author is not also the admin? It might be the case that the admin receives the comment notification and the “Author” (who is also the admin) receives the reply notification.
    Check Settings → Discussion if Email me whenever – Anyone posts a comment is checked.

    All author do get comment notification. When a user left comment on author post. Author reply to user comment. the user don’t get notification at all.

    i had to used this plugin
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/comment-reply-notification/
    so the user get notification email.

    problem is when author get a new comment author click reply and the user get notifiation. user come back and click reply back to the author. The author get two e mail.
    notification comment on post and notifiation comment reply.

    hope this make sense..
