# Comment redirect problem

 * When a user submits a comment on my site, they are directed to an incorrect URL
   with a double / instead of just a single /. For example, say I post a comment
   on an article, I am directed to:
 * [http://www.360elites.net/featured/ms-gives-1-week-of-live-to-mw2-players//comment-page-1#comment-49](http://www.360elites.net/featured/ms-gives-1-week-of-live-to-mw2-players//comment-page-1#comment-49)
 * when I should, in fact, be directed to:
 * [http://www.360elites.net/featured/ms-gives-1-week-of-live-to-mw2-players/comment-page-1#comment-49](http://www.360elites.net/featured/ms-gives-1-week-of-live-to-mw2-players/comment-page-1#comment-49)
 * I’ve looked through all my theme’s files an cannot find anything that might cause
   this (I’m using the Arras theme). I am using the All In One SEO plugin, but I’m
   pretty sure that isn’t causing the problem.

 * save to default, test your site
 * if all is well, set back to custom

 * sure thing. After the permalinks thing, your next 2 steps will be to deactivate
   all plugins and test. Then switch to default theme and test.
 * These are the first things to be tried for pretty much all problems.
 * Plugins, themes, and permnalinks can go wonky, and affect things you really wouldn’t
   expect them to

 * Ok, that fixed it. My custom permalink had a / on the end. DOH! Thanks RVoodoo.
