Garbage Links in Comment Posts

    Since I moderate the posts to my blog – I get email notifications of the possible postings – I do see in a lot of the postings with garbage links; ie yurzq.com – what are these links and their significance.

    I get this in the posts where I have previous put a blank line.

    </span></span></span> 

    It produces some strange characters in the posts instead of blank lines, a character that looks like a capital A with a circle on the top (Alpha?)
