Hello @ezone69, I am afraid this is not an issue from StCR, on the email headers there is no option that mark the emails as read. Please check your email settings carefully as it sounds that it is something with your email client.
Best Regards.!!

Thanks Reedyseth! I use Gmail as the email client and the setup is pretty standard. I’ll keep digging.
You’re welcome.
Check out the Filter Options in gmail, as sometimes it happens that by mistake you used the keyboard shortcuts and apply this kind of settings.
Regards.!!

@reedyseth, do you have a guide on the best setup for STCR? We have been using it for several months now but there are some issues that came up.
One recent issue was we hosted a giveaway on the blog and there were a lot of comments (400 +).
I could be wrong but I believe if people subscribe to all comments, then every new comment would be sent to every individual that had subscribed to all comments and we ended up sending over 2000 emails in a very short time. It’s probably a setting issue on our end but if there’s a guide to best practice it would be helpful.
Secondly, all the emails for comments are not being sent to the inbox as the commenter but the default “admin” email. Is this the way it’s supposed to work?
Happy to discuss a private consult to setup the plugin correctly for blog use.
Thanks
Hi @ezone69
The first issue is that the plugin send an email notifications to all your subscribers, right now it works like that, it is not correct, I am working in a digest system to have this control and only send a resume to all your subscribers.
As for the second issue, we can discuss it later, please fill the information on the next link:

I will be glad to get in touch to solve your issue.
