Comment mention not possible in first post

    When creating a new topic on my bbpress forum, it is not possible to use the comment mention.
    only in the reply’s after creating a new topic (first post).

    is this correct? Any way to enable the comment mention when creating a topic?

    i don’t know if it is related…. but i had an update available for your plugin.
    Did that update and now it is working…..
