• One of my “subscribers” or “users” posted a comment yesterday that I accidentally marked as spam instead of approving it. I was able to find his comment in the spam folder, click “not spam” and then approve it back to the blog.

HOWEVER, since I’ve done that, all of his comments immediately go into the spam folder. I have searched but found no way to resolve this. Also, I moderate all comments (if that matters).

The only thing I have considered is deleting his account and then having him sign up again, but I would rather not have to make him do anything.

    Thoughts? Thanks in advance!!!

  • Akismet should learn eventually that he’s not a spammer. You could also check the setting under Settings(how appropriate) >> Discussion that says a user must have a previously approved comment for their comments to show.

Akismet always had him as a non-spammer. But it was my mistake of marking him as spam that started this chain reaction. I’ve already “not spam” marked his posts 10-12 times and it is not catching up. Any further advice?
