    Dear all,

    on our page comments are only allowed for registered users so comment form is only visible for them after login.

    Problem: The comment list is still visible for everybody. How can I change this?

    Thanks in advance and regards.

  • Hi again,

    received the solution in another forum.

    Just enter following CSS code in your stylesheet:

    .comments-area {
      display:none;
    }

    .logged-in .comments-area {
      display:inline;
    }

    For my favour it’s working.

    It worked for me! Thanks!

    To remove only the comments themselves and leave the “Comments” Header and the “You must be logged in to post a comment” Link I changed it to this:

    .comment {
      display:none;
    }

    .logged-in .comment {
      display:inline;
    }

    @coxinha @joshthebeloved Remember that CSS use only visibility option, so all the comments still can be shown if someone will open all code of the website.

    That what i know, WordPress has no possibility to hide comments for not logged-in users without plug (for eg there is ‘Ultimate Member’ but I don’t know it well).

    I think WordPress should provide this options without plugin..
