# Comment/ Leave a reply

 * Could anyone tell me how to get rid off the “Leave a reply” area? I just don’t
   know how it pop up on some pages.

 * to disable it by default:
 * Dashboard->Settings->Discussion
 * Uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles” and save
 * then go to Dashboard->Posts->All Posts
    use quick edit to deselect “allow comments”
   and save on the desired posts
 * then go to Dashboard->Pages->All Pages
    use quick edit to deselect “allow comments”
   and save on the desired pages
