# Comment Forms…

 * Hi, my site is [http://www.lagerstatten.ca](http://www.lagerstatten.ca) and I
   recently upgraded to WP v1.5 and now the comments aren’t working like they use
   to before. I just want visitors to be able to enter in their name/email/url and
   then be able to comment on the blog. But currently, if I set the option of “user
   must fill out name and email”, there is no field/form present for visitors to
   input their name/email/url therefore when they write a comment and hit “submit
   comment” they all receive the error:
 * Error: please fill the required fields (name, email)
 * Can anyone help me reinstate the name/email/url fields onto my comments. Please
   and Thank You in advance.

 * 1.5 seems to be having major comment issues. I have found about 5 posts tonight
   exactly on point with this issue, but no solutions.
 * On mine, it does it in all themes, even an un-modified version of the default.
   Thus leading me to believe the issue is not in the comments.php or index.php.
 * Any solutions or suggestions?

   on that thread too. No one is giving any advice over there either. Just copying
   codex links to stuff we have already done.
 * My comments are not working even with the default themes right out of the package.
