# Comment Form spam

 * I have been getting a lot of Contact Form spam on my WordPress site [http://www.appliedtranslations.co.uk](http://www.appliedtranslations.co.uk)–
   I use the Contact Form 7 plug in.
 * I attempted to resolve the issue using the Stop COmment Form Spam plug in but
   I ave just received a message that got through.
 * can anyone recommend any other plug ins for this issue? Can I make may tweaks“
   under the hood”that can deal with this annoyance?

 * In which contact form are you getting the spams from? Is it from the contact 
   page? If it is, I think the best thing to do is to implement some type of captcha
   for the form.

 * If your getting the spam comments from your post comment form please add the 
   below plugin which will add the Captcha to your comment form this will helps 
   you.

 * For the standard post comment form, I would recommend [Anti-spam](https://wordpress.org/plugins/anti-spam/)
   and not mess with the Captcha stuff.
 * For Contact Form stuff, it doesn’t do anything for that.
