When I activate the comment form in the Jetpack discussion settings, I see that comments cannot be made. Because there is no comment form. I updated to WordPress 6.8. I don’t know if it happened after that.

    Hi @biredip

Thank you for reaching out and I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with the comment form. Let’s try to get that sorted out.

First, could you please let me know if the comment settings were working properly before you updated to WordPress 6.8? Sometimes, after an update, your browser might continue to load old data, causing problems like this. To fix this, I suggest trying to clear your browser’s cache.

If clearing the cache doesn’t solve the issue, please share the URL of your site where the comments form should appear so we can take a closer look.

It would also be helpful if you could send us a screenshot of your comment options, which you can find by going to Jetpack > Settings > Discussion.

    Looking forward to your response!

I solved this problem. After disabling and re-activating the plugin, the problem was solved. Interesting. :))

    Hi @biredip

Thank you for sharing the solution here in the forums! This can definitely help others if they encounter the same situation. 🙂

Sometimes, disconnecting and reconnecting can indeed help fix issues. We actually have a guide on how to reconnect Jetpack in case connection problems occur.

If you need it in the future, feel free to bookmark this link: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/

I’ll be marking this thread as solved, but if anything else comes up please feel free to create a new topic.
